the Year So far...

Wow it's been a while  We kicked off the new year with some good band activity, playing at the Hub and making our debut at the Nestor in Fargo.  In that same vein, we just did another hub show a couple weekends ago, and will be hitting the Nestor again this coming weekend--history repeating, hahaha.  the Mecan'tiKs are evolving as a band, and getting along as well as we ever did.  I love being part of this band, and I look forward to what summer might bring for us.
Karissa and I broke up last Fall.  We had a good run, 9 years, but just mutually felt like it was time to split.  We still get along great, she remains one of my closest friends, though our friends and family still have some difficulty fully understanding us.  But then, we never did anything conventionally, so a break-up that only we understand fits the mold perfectly. 
i'm sure there's plenty of stuff I'm forgetting, you fill in those blanks.  Use your imagination ;)
