Par For the Course
It's been a helluva couple shitty weeks.
My grandma died on May 11. It's been such a long time coming, that many of us actually felt relieved that she was no longer suffering. The funeral was nice, more like the celebration it's supposed to be. It was cool to see all my extended family, too.
A couple days later, Karissa found out her grandma is in the hospital. The cancer had advanced and she doesn't sound like she has much longer left, either (but is still alive as of this writing). More good news.
Just last week, Jas and some buddies got into a serious motorcycle accident with an old lady who shouldn't even have been driving. You can get the whole story from this website.

It's not that I can't tell the story, it's just that I've explained it so many times I don't feel like writing the whole damned thing out again. He's doing alright now, but his leg is still messed up, and he has a long road ahead of him before he can get back on that bike. His fiancee, Amber, is spending almost all her time with him, his friends and family have been filing in and out for the past week to cheer him on.
