Time Flies When You're Havin' Fun...Then Slows a Bit While Waiting For Spring

It feels like I've had a busy month so far, but I don't really think I have. The months just seem to fly by these days, it's weird that it's already mid-late March.
For those who haven't checked Golden Brown lately, I've posted a 2-page epilogue. I've had that 2-page epilogue in head for 2 of the 3 years I've been doing the comic. As of that posting, BoneDaddy Comics goes on hiatus. Currently, I'm going through the very first pages and redrawing/scripting them, and hopefully when finished I'll have something I consider worthy of sending in to get rejected, called racist, unfunny, and whatever else publishers would tell me until one finally tells me they'll publish it. At least, that's the dream. I've got another major story in my head which I've teased you guys with, but have not fully developed myself, and that'll be a little bit before I have anything more to post.
Derek's birthday party never materialized. To start with, Karissa came down with Bronchitis. She wasn't improving much close to the weekend, and Isabella seemed to be coming down with something, too, so I ducked out. Since I couldn't go, the plans seemed to completely fall apart (that's what I tell myself when mirror Doug is making fun of me, anyway). We'll make sure to try again.
The whole flooding thing sucks but it hasn't gotten us just yet. I look down at our basement every day just to see, and nothing so far. The garage has about an inch of water in it, but that's normal this time of year and nothing is in the water that won't survive.
My cousin Cory blew into town for the weekend, so I took him out on Thursday to Mike's Pizza. We had a lot of fun catching up, and inadvertantly got to check out some local "open mic" talent.
We got into Devils Lake just yesterday to visit my dad. It's still kind of hard to think this is the last time I'm visiting "Dad's house". Next time I'll be visiting his apartment or visiting him as "Jason's house".
In a couple hours I'm gonna jam a little with Derek. We don't seem to make good progress with the 3 of us, so I'm going to try playing with one at a time and see if we can get it together enough that when we all get behind our instruments we go a little more smooth-like. We'll see what happens. It was amazing that last time we couldn't even tune up together.
