This is my only color pic to date. I did it with chalk pastels last January.

I personally get the creeps from this drawing, but I do like it and I think for it being your ONLY shot at pastels, the blending is pretty good! You'll get the hang of it, even though I think you are not a pastel type of person, every artist needs to broaden.... nevermind you know that shit. you don't need my empty encouragement. In fact, I don't think you should do colors... I like your drawing when you aren't focused on the colors, but the actual 'feel' of the piece (usually in your case it is symbolic SOMEHOW)
But you're not bad at it...
