And I'm done! The girl in the reference photo is posing on carpet, so I thought I'd refrain from smearing the floor. It does make it look a bit like carpet, plus I think the roughness of its look brings out more smoothness in the shading of her skin.

I like it! I think you did better than your classmates.. not that its a competition... but it really is.
oh and my favorite part is the butt...
and the carpet
and her hair
and thats it.... yes I left that many comments to be annoying!
April! Let some of the othe fanclub members comment instead of being a Doug-hog!
April I'm glad that you can post comments now! But why only post them on Dougs blog? What about me? LOL Doug I think you have come a long way with all the different styles that you have learned. It's nice to see your work as you improve. Bravo!!
Holy crap Doug! Your naked woman is great. I agree with April, I think you did an excellent job with the back and butt. Just one question...how did you get Karissa to pose for that! :)
I have to admit I like this drawing quite a bit.
The fact that its a pencil drawing leaves the attention to be drawn to the darker parts of the picture which is her hair. You nailed it in that respect, and I have to say I like how you completed her feet as well.
A+ in my book Doug.
Thanks Jory! I'm still waiting for you to come in and pose nude for me, though.
