Some of my first rough (and I mean ROUGH) sketches of "Golden Brown" These were made while I was still trying to figure out how 'silly' to make him. To the right is my first sketch of "Benny-Bear Rachel V". I had to use some realism in this one, because I've never drawn Ben's face before, and wasn't familiar with it yet.
